The Facebook pixel is code that you place on your website. It collects data that helps you track conversions from Facebook ads, optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to people who have already taken some kind of action on your website.
If you have run Facebook ads before for traffic, the odds are that you already understand what retargeting is.
Again, you already know how to install Facebook pixel to webpages.

However, if you are just getting started (especially with setting up your e-commerce store, blog, website or probably, a landing page), having a handful of information on how visitors interact with your web pages is great if you ever plan to monetize those properties.
One way of doing this, is to install Facebook Pixel. But sometimes, you might be wondering if you did it the right way or if at all it is working.
There are many ways to check but I will show you the simplest of them all.
∆ So, launch your chrome browser.
∆ Go to chrome store
∆ Search for “Facebook Pixel Helper” extension
∆ Click on the Add to Chrome.
Once done, you will see the icon on the browser menu bar..
∆ Click on it to activate.
Visit any website you wish to check if the Facebook Pixel is installed or working correctly (even if it is a random website).
If a Pixel is on the site, you will see the extension change color from gray to green. Click on it and it will expand to reveal how many of the pixel(s) is/are installed.
But if no pixel found, the color remains gray and if you click on it, it will show “No Facebook pixel Found” or something like that.
Go now and manage your own website like you are a pro!
